BCF released details of its August activities

 

On the second day of Eid al-Adha, the BCF released to the public details of its August activities. In short, out of (620) activities conducted in August, (214,513) families and (1.171.892) individual have benefited from all its working centers. It is worth noting that the above numbers are presented in the aggregated form.

 

On second of August 2017 and after a long and busy month, BCF released details of its August activities. According to the announcement which has been published today, out of 620 activities in Augus,t a staggering (214,513) families and (1,171, 892) individuals from all communities benefited from a wide-ranging activities of BCF.

 

According to the details, BCF assistance team reached 11,000 low-income families from the host community to provide food assistance in August alone. The same month witnessed the delivery of BCF’s Orphan Care allowances that reached 4,646 orphan children with a total amount of ($1, 161,500). The allowances represented the combined five months entitlements of the beneficiary children with each receiving $250. 

 

Another significant number has come from Qurbani meat distributions to displaced people at two major camps where in collaboration with the State of Kuwait, Shua’a al-Amal for Relief and Development and the Emirates Red Crescent Society, more 5,000 IDP families received the total of 5,000 kg of read meat to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
