150 tents delivered to earthquake-affected families in Darbandikhan

Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) delivered 150 tents to the families affected by the earthquakes in Darbandikhan town, southeast of Sulaymaniyah Province of the Kurdistan Region.

On December 17, 2017, the BCF teams visited the earthquake-hit town of Darbandikhan for inspections into the situation of the people and offered 150 tents to the families affected by the last month’s quake.

A powerful earthquake took place on November 12 in Sulaymaniyah and Halabja provinces. Ever since, the residents of Darbandikhan, the most severely affected area,  have been staying outside their houses.

BCF continues to assist the people affected by the disaster in the Kurdistan Region and has so far delivered many batches of humanitarian aid to them.
