150 more tents delivered to earthquake-affected people in Darbandikhan

The second batch of Barzani Charity Foundation’s aid was delivered to the earthquake-affected people in Darbandikhan during this week.

On Monday, December 18, 2017, Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) delivered 150 more tents to the people in Darbandikhan, the most severely affected town in Sulaymaniyah Province.

Earlier on December 17, the BCF teams visited Darbandikhan town for inspections into the situation of the people and offered 150 tents to the families affected by the last month’s quake.

A powerful earthquake hit Sulaymaniyah and Halabja provinces on November 12. Ever since, the residents of Darbandikhan, the most severely affected area,  have been staying outside their houses. BCF continues to assist the people affected by the disaster in the Kurdistan Region and has so far delivered many batches of humanitarian aid to them.
