BCF & LDS opened a new cultural centre at Gawilan refugee camp

 

In another collaborative project between the Barzani Charity Foundation and the American LDS, a new cultural centre opened at Gawilan refugee camp in Akre.

 

The project was sponsored by the American LDS and implemented by the BCF and aimed to provide a venue where cultural, educational and vocational activities to take place. The centre which called (Rawshan Badirkhan Cultural Centre) was opened in a public ceremony on 8th of November 2016 and attended by Sheikh Aziz Sheikh Reza (the BCF president) and representatives from LDS. The centre will benefit the Syrian refugees at the camp and is part of BCF’s multi-dimensional humanitarian strategy in the KRI.
