School supplies and bags delivered to 150 displaced students from Tuz Khurmatu


Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) delivers bags and school supplies to 150 displaced students from Tuz Khurmatu who are currently studying at schools across Kalar city in the Kurdistan Region.

As part of its activities in education sector, BCF delivered on December 18, 2017, school supplies and bags to 150 elementary students (grades 1-6) from Tuz Khurmatu, who are currently studying at nine schools in Kalar district.

These students were forced to flee Tuz Khurmatu along with their families due to conflicts in their areas and they are continuing their education in cities and towns of the Kurdistan Region.  

In its education sector, Barzani Charity Foundation, conducts different activities every year, including building and renovating schools, providing school supplies and equipment to schools and students as well as learning and vocational courses. These activities are carried out by BCF in cooperation with local and international humanitarian organizations.
