Food and non-food assistance delivered to university students in Koya and Garmiyan

The aid project for students from public universities was launched in Koya and Garmiyan districts on February 28, 2018.


On February 28, Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF), delivered food and cleaning supplies to 2,900 university students living in 5 dormitories in Koya city, located in the northeast of Erbil Province.


Meanwhile, the foundation distributed 500 food parcels and 500 boxes of cleaning supplies to the students from Garmiyan University in Kalar town.









Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) launched a large-scale aid project for public university students living in dormitories in Kurdistan Region of Iraq on February 25, 2018.


The project was announced by the head of the BCF, Musa Ahmed, during a press conference held on the campus of Shaheed Shawkat Sheikh Yazdin Dormitory in Erbil on Sunday, February 25, 2018.


During the press conference, the head of the foundation said that 46,976 students from 14 universities across the Kurdistan Region will benefit from the project which is sponsored by a number of local companies and businesses.
