The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) with support of United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s Red Crescent Organization delivered seven tons of medicines to Kurdistan Region’s Health Ministry.
On Wednesday February 27th, the Barzani Charity Foundation with UEA’s Red Crescent and with the presence of Dr. Rekawt Hama Rashid KRG health Minister, Erbil Governor Nawzad Hadi as well as BCF deputy Director Mussa Ahmed and Sheikh Rashid The UAE Consul General in Kurdistan Region distributed medicines and medical equipment to KRG’s Health Ministry, which included; Kidney illness, children medicines as well as other medical equipment.
Regarding the BCF and UEA’s Red Crescent aid, KRG’s Health Minister said that acknowledged BCF and Red Crescent organization for thier latest humanitarian support for health sector in Kurdistan Region and noted the newest aid will improve health sector in Kurdistan Region.
Meanwhile BCF deputy director Mussa Ahmed thanked Red Crescent Organization for their continues coordination with Barzani Charity Foundation in providing aid and assistance in all sectors in Kurdistan Region as well as helping refugees in the region.
Ahmed also talked about the importance for supporting health sector in Kurdistan region due to the arrival of more than two million Iraqi IDPs and Syrian refugees to Kurdistan Region.
Furthermore, the Governor of Erbil, Nawzad Hadi thanked Barzani Charity Foundation and UAE’s Red Crescent organization for their continues support of Kurdistan Region in all sectors and refugees based in the region.
