Mobility aid and instruction provided for disabled people in Shaqlawa

 

As part of the LDS-Charities-BCF joint disabled care projects, 13 disabled people received wheelchairs and walking sticks in Shaqlawa district.

 

The distribution took place on 1st of August 2017 and it started with a short instruction-giving session for the 13 beneficiaries. The operation was part of the joint disabled care project that is funded by the American-headquartered LDS-Charities and the BCF that started on 18th of February 2015 which so far has benefited more than 900 disabled people from all three communities in the KRI (the host, refugees and IDPs).
