On March 3, 2022, a delegation of the BCF headed by the president of the BCF Mr. Musa Ahmed, vice president of the Foundation Mr. Ibrahim Samin, and the member of the administrative board of the Foundation Mr. Awat Mustafa, visited Germany on an official invitation of the state. They met with Mr. Rickliff Benin, responsible for preventing Crises, ensuring stability & peace, and providing aid in the German Federal Foreign Office.
In the meeting, Mr. Benin talked about his visit to the camps of the Kurdistan Region and inspected the conditions of the IDPs and refugees. He praised the role of the Barzani Charity Foundation and its initiatives and stated: You have a great position and I am happy with your work. Mr. Rickliff Benin promised to continue providing humanitarian aid to the region and ensured his readiness to support the Barzani Charity Foundation to implement humanitarian projects.
On the other hand, Mr. Musa Ahmed expressed his gratitude to the German state and its people for the assistance they provided to the KRI during the previous years, especially during the influx of the IDPs and refugees toward the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Mr. Rickliff Benin stated: In order to provide aid, we must be in remain in touch with the Barzani Charity Foundation and the Kurdistan Regional Government to improve the conditions of the IDPs and refugees in Kurdistan Region.
