BCF Conducts Qurbani Meat Project

Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) conducted the Qurbani meat distribution project on the occasion of Eid al-Ahad from which a great number of refugees, IDPs and local communities benefited.

The BCF, in collaboration with The UAE Red Crescent, slaughtered dozens of cows and distributed the meat to the IDP and refugee families during the four days of Eid.

As part of the project, 1,300 families of the orphans, who are registered by the BCF in Erbil, received the Qurbani meat.

On the other hand, the BCF, in partnership with Hand of Mercy Organization for Relief and Development, slaughtered 39 sheep and distributed the meat to the displaced people. The foundation distributed dozens more sheep and cows to distribute the meat to the camps and local neighbourhoods.

The foundation also distributed the Qurbani meat to 660 families (3,300 individuals) in Bahirka 1 refugee camp, and 400 families (4,000 individuals) in Hassan Sham U3 camp in partnership with Bidar organization.

The BCF, in cooperation with local and foreign organizations and personal benefactors, conducts Qurbani project every year during Eid al-Adha to deliver meat to low-income families, orphans, IDPs and refugees.
