Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) held activities and sports festival for children of refugees and IDPS in Erbil on Children’s Day.
On June 2, 2022, the BCF organized the first sports festival for the IDP and refugee children from all the camps across the Kurdistan Region at Franso Hariri stadium in Erbil.
The Erbil governor Omed Khoshnaw, the BCF president Musa Ahmed, head of the Iraqi Olympic committee Raad Hamoudi, the head of the Central Union for the field sports, Talib Faisal, the chair of Erbil sports club, Walid Arab, the general director of sports, Shakir Smo, and other companies representatives, attended the opening ceremony and each one of them presented a statement about the importance of the event.
The festival later began and all the children started the sports activities representing their camps. Finally the winners were awarded.
