The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF), with the support of the UAE Red Crescent Society, beagan the project of the distribution of financial aid to IDPs and refugees living in the camps across the Kurdistan Region on October 30, 2022.
In the first phase, the aid was distributed to residents of Khazir M1 and Hasan Sham U3 camps in Erbil Province on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Each family received $50 and a population of 1,001 families (5,088 individuals) in Khazir M1 camp, and 1,326 families (5,969 individuals) in Hasan Sham U3 camp benefited from the assistance.
According to the project, $0.5 million will be distributed to the IDPs and refugees living in the camps.
