As part of the campaigns of Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) to provide dinner (iftar) and Suhoor meals during the holy month of Ramadan, the BCF relief teams in Hatay Province of Turkey distributed freshly cooked meals to 2,000 earthquake victims in three different places in the province on April 15, 2023.
The dinner included cooked rice, beans, meat, soup and salmon, and the Suhoor was cheese, honey, tomatoes, halva, eggs and butter.
On the same day, the BCF team in Marash distributed offered hot meals to more than 1,000 earthquake victims.
The provision of hot meals for iftar continued in Diyarbakır.
More than 2,000 earthquake victims were offered hot food including rice, chicken, beans and bread.
On April 15, 2023, the BCF team in Urfa distributed parcels of raw food items and drinking water to 200 students living mosque dormitories in Urfa. The amount of food was 20,000 kg of rice, 1,600 packs of bottled water and 5,000 kg of flour.
