Consul General of the Netherlands, Jaco Beerends, visited Khanke camp in Duhok province on May 3, 2023 and was warmly welcomed by the representative of Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) and the camp administration.
The delegation aimed to learn about the situation of the IDPs living in the camp and the services provided and the problems they are facing. The Dutch consul visited a number of families living in the camp and reaffirmed his country’s support to improve their living conditions.
