Barzani Charity Foundation and the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) have signed an agreement to provide more than 1,000 stoves for schools and educational centers for this academic year.
The agreement was signed on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the head office of Barzani Charity Foundation in the presence of Mr. Karzan Nuri, Member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation and Ragaz Rashid, Director General of the Ministry of Education.
Mr. Ragaz Rashid, Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Education, thanked the Barzani Charity Foundation for its continuous assistance to the education sector in all provinces and said that in recent years, the Barzani Charity Foundation has paid special attention to the education sector which shows that the education sector is a big part of its work and programs of Barzani Charity Foundation and a clear indication of the concern of Barzani Charity Foundation for the next generation and students.
For his part, Mr. Karzan Nuri, a member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation, said that the agreement that’s signed is not the first and last work of Barzani Charity Foundation and there is a comprehensive plan for the education sector for next year Coordination with the Ministry of Education in All provinces will be implemented.
On behalf of the President of Barzani Charity Foundation, Mr. Karzan Nuri thanked the donors who participated in the process, including: American LDS organization, Infinios Salvator organizzation, Mr. Daniel Pauls from American PAS, Mr. John Radit – America, Mr. Zikri Bashir, Mr. Shakir Ismail, Mr. Lazgin Gizi, Mr. Dana Hawezi, Iraqi Private Banks Association and Mr. Hawre.
And also explained that the provision of the number of stoves is from the mentioned donors who have always supported the Barzani Charity Foundation, and the reason for this continuity, is the confidence and trust of the donors have in the agency that they are sure the donations Get to the right place.
