The Minister of Social Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) thanked the Barzani Charity Foundation for providing the needs of the government kindergarten in Halabja province. The first government kindergarten in Halabja was inaugurated on March 3, 2024 in the presence of Ms. Kowstan Mohammed, Minister of Social Affairs, Karzan Nuri and Ismail Abdulaziz, members of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation, Ali Garmiani, representative of Iraqi private banks and a number of famous people in Halabja.
At the opening ceremony, Ms. Kowestan Mohammed, Minister of Social Affairs, thanked the Barzani Charity Foundation and said: “This kindergarten has been rented by the government and we have employed a staff of 16 people and thankfully after we requested Barzani Charity Foundation and they provided all the needed stuff for the kindergarten.” On March 12, 2024, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs officially sent a letter of thanks to Barzani Charity Foundation, which states: for your support and help to our minister for providing equipment to our kindergarten from Halabja province of Directorate of Social Welfare and Development of Halabja, we would like to express our gratitude to you We look forward to your further cooperation and coordination.
