Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) distributes food parcels to low-income families in collaboration with local and foreign companies, donors and humanitarian organizations. For this year’s Ramadan in collaboration with its donors (Baranaty Company) and (BAT Company), 8000 food parcels have been distributed to low-income families in Erbil, Sulaimani, Duhok, Kirkuk, Halabja and Garmian, Nineveh and other cities to low-income families. This project will continue throughout the month of Ramadan.
The types of foods include: rice, tomato paste, oil, lentil, beans, rice, sugar, salt, tea, flour, sharia, pasta, chicken, dates. The 8,000 cartons of food will be distributed in the following provinces and cities:
Erbil 2500, Duhok 1500, Sulaimani 1250, Halabja 1000, Kirkuk 750, Nineveh 500 and Garmian 500 cartons of food, which includes the city and surrounding cities.
This project only covers the distribution of food parcels. Barzani Charity Foundation has several other projects during the holy month of Ramadan with the help of its partners.
