Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, welcomed a delegation of the International High Commissioner for Refugees which was led by Mr. Jean Nicholas, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iraq.
In a meeting, the humanitarian situation in the Kurdistan Region was discussed and the President of Barzani Charity Foundation appreciated the assistance and coordination of the High Commissioner for Refugees, stressing that Barzani Charity Foundation has benefited greatly from the experience of (UNHCR). That they have been serving the refugees together with the teams of Barzani Charity Foundation for the past few years. He wished for these cooperation and coordination to continue in the future.
For his part, Mr. Jean Nicholas, (UNHCR) Representative in Iraq, said that he is very positive about the experience he had in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He also claimed:” unfortunately, my working time has finished here and this is the reason of my visit and I want to say that I am very proud of our partnership with the Joint Crisis Coordination Center (JCC) and through them with the Barzani Charity Foundation.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Musa Ahmad presented an appreciation letter to Mr. Jean Nicholas.
