On 27 June 2024, Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, welcomed a delegation of Van Chamber of Commerce led by Mr. Najdet Takwaz. The guest delegation expressed their gratitude for the quick response of the Barzani Charity Foundation teams and the delivery of aid to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey in general and the residents of Van in particular and also, they claimed that the Barzani Charity Foundation has always been the first to provide assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey.
In the continuation of the meeting, it was also decided to pay attention to broader relations and joint work. In this context, the opening of Ahmadi Khani Center in Van to pay attention to Kurdish culture and literature was discussed in detail.
The President of Barzani Charity Foundation expressed his pleasure for the visit and assured that they will assist them in promoting the work and activities of Ahmadi Khani Center in Van.
