As the tensions in Syria increased, more people are forced to flee their homes and seek asylum in the Kurdistan region.
The range of new refugee arrivals raised by 16 percentage in one month. In January 2020, (1,200) Syrian refugees arrived in Kurdistan region, while the number is increased to (1,412) in February.
Every day, people are trying to cross the borders to Kurdistan region illegally, and it is expected that the number of refugees will arrive as the tensions increased in Syria.
The third flow of Syrian refugees to the Kurdistan region started on October 14, 2019, until the end of February 2020, the number of refugees settled in Kurdistan region have been (21,460) individuals.
