ERBIL (BCF) – Aiming to get acquainted with the current situation of the displaced people and the camp administration, a US delegation membered by Mr. Richard Albright, Deputy Assistant Secretary Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration visited Hassan Sham camp on November 18, 2019, where the displaced Iraqis live.
In a meeting between the two sides, after praising the role of the BCF in continuing to provide support and assistance to the displaced, a number of issues highlighted such as (the living situation of the displaced, reasons for not returning to their areas of residence, health, and education).
The US delegation visited a number of families inside the camp and met with (10) family representatives to discuss their situation and listen to their requirements.
