Under the guidance and supervision of the Office of His Excellency Mala Mustafa Barzani, the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF), in partnership with Swisscross, and in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Health and the Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialties (KHCMS), has renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure the continuation and further development of the Kurdistan Center of Excellence for Complex Care Project.
This important step reaffirms the commitment of all partner organizations to strengthening specialized healthcare services, enhancing cooperation and coordination among the relevant institutions, and expanding access to advanced medical care for patients requiring specialized treatment throughout the Kurdistan Region.
Over the past two years, this joint humanitarian project has provided specialized medical consultations for nearly 1,500 patients, while approximately 500 specialized surgical procedures have been successfully performed.
