President of the Barzani Charity Foundation Presents Ramadan projects and data at a Press Conference
The President of the Barzani Charity Foundation presented detailed data and information on the Foundation’s activities during the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting that operations were carried out across seven different sectors. The total value of assistance provided during this period exceeded 4,577,635,200 Iraqi dinars.
Musa Ahmed, President of the Barzani Charity Foundation, made these remarks during a press conference held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Erbil. He noted that the Foundation continues to gain increasing trust day by day, thanks to the support of donors and philanthropists across Kurdistan. This growing trust has enabled the Foundation to play a visible and impactful role during religious, national, and cultural occasions.
He also emphasized that, as in previous years, the Foundation has implemented a wide range of meaningful and impactful activities during the holy month of Ramadan, contributing positively to society.
The President extended his congratulations on the occasions of Ramadan and the Kurdish New Year (Newroz) to all humanity, Muslims, and the people of Kurdistan.
Regarding this year’s activities, he stated:
“During this Ramadan, we operated across seven different sectors in the Kurdistan Region as well as in four other provinces of Iraq. Furthermore, under the guidance of President Barzani, we played a significant role in Rojava Kurdistan, providing services to both displaced persons and local communities in Kurdish areas.”
