More Than 600 People Benefited from Vocational, Educational, and Artistic Training Courses During June 2026

The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) continues to provide vocational, educational, artistic, and life-skills training courses for internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and host communities. During June 2026 alone, more than 600 people benefited from these programs, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills that contribute to their personal development and future livelihoods.
Despite the reduction in support from several United Nations-affiliated international organizations, BCF has remained committed to sustaining educational, vocational, and artistic training programs both inside IDP and refugee camps and in surrounding communities. These courses continue to have a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of participants by equipping them with practical skills, improving employment opportunities, and promoting self-reliance.0
In June 2026, in addition to organizing first aid and emergency response training courses and awareness seminars on the dangers of substance abuse, which benefited thousands of participants, BCF successfully provided vocational, educational, artistic, and literacy courses to 602 beneficiaries across camps and host communities.

Its programs are designed around globally recognized humanitarian sectors while also addressing the specific needs and priorities of local communities through long-term, sustainable initiatives.
As part of this commitment, BCF has invested significantly in establishing and supporting cultural, vocational, and educational centers, particularly within IDP and refugee camps. These centers offer a wide range of training opportunities that enable participants to develop professional skills, improve their employability, and create sustainable sources of income for themselves and their families.
Through its cultural centers and vocational training facilities, BCF organizes hundreds of training courses each year, covering a diverse range of fields, including:

Other vocational and life-skills programs
By expanding access to quality education and vocational training, the Barzani Charity Foundation continues to empower vulnerable communities, promote self-sufficiency, and create new opportunities for individuals to build productive and dignified lives.
