The BCF President Musa Ahmad received a delegation from the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on July 5, 2021, in the headquarters of the BCF in Erbil. The delegation was accompanied by the KRG Minister of Health Dr. Saman Barzinji and Director of the Erbil Health Directorate Dr. Dlovan Mohammad.
Covid-19 response and the current health conditions in the Kurdistan Region were highlighted during the meeting. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of further collaboration between the BCF and Ministry of Health in KRG to help internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees and host communities.
A number of partnership health projects between the BCF and Ministry of Health in KRG were decided to be conducted in future.
