Barzani Charity Foundation in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government, a week before the arrival of Iranian pilgrims to Erbil, who will visit the holy cities of Iraq (Karbala and Najaf) to participate in the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussein, began preparations and provided accommodation in Martyr Sami Abdulrahman Park in Erbil.
On Wednesday 30\7\2025 the first convoy of pilgrims arrived in Erbil and their convoys will continue to arrive.
Barzani Charity Foundation has welcomed more than 900,000 pilgrims in the past three years. This year, Barzani Charity Foundation teams have been able to provide accommodation for the pilgrims who are traveling from Haji Omeran to Erbil until they are sent to Baghdad. They will be provided with accommodation, bathroom, food and drink and medical services.
