Every day, hundreds of low-income families call Barzani Charity Foundation’s (BCF) hotline phone number, to receive food parcels.
After imposing a curfew and lockdown in Kurdistan Region as a precautionary and preventive measure against the threat of an outbreak of the coronavirus, the Erbil governorate, through BCF, announced hotline aiming to provide food assistance to the vulnerable families in the Erbil province and its surroundings.
BCF teams will deliver essential needs to the families that contact the hotline phone number, after being confirmed by the assessment teams.
A total number of (166) low-income families benefited just in the first day of the campaign. The process of delivered food assistance to needy families will be continued during the curfew days.
The BCF announced that the assistance includes only the families that reach to the hotline phone number (+9647502061515), and in the next days, the campaign will take place in all the Kurdistan Region provinces with the support from benefactors and NGOs.
The BCF calls all the benefactors and rich people to support this project to assist as many low-income families as they can.
