Awat Mustafa, the ambassador of Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) to ECOSOC, met with HIS organization on October 1, 2018. The meeting was aimed at providing the hospitals of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq with necessary equipment.
Both sides reached an agreement on providing four blood bank refrigerators, plasma freezers and other supplies to the blood banks in the Kurdistan Region. The charity project was conducted in coordination with four organizations in the US and the UK, including HIS organization, Edinburgh Direct Aid, Global Samaritan Resources and Rescue organizations. The BCF is planning to further coordinate with those aid organizations to conduct more joint projects.
