Food and non-food assistance in Rojava continues, and to date, 12,526 families have benefited from the support.

Since the outbreak of the conflict and the emergence of a complex and difficult humanitarian situation that led to the displacement of thousands of families in Rojava Kurdistan, the Barzani Charity Foundation, under the direction of President Barzani, launched a wide-ranging campaign to collect and deliver humanitarian aid to the region. The distribution of assistance by the Foundation’s teams continues intensively, with daily services and support provided to displaced families across various sectors.
The Foundation’s teams are actively distributing aid to displaced families in the cities of Qamishlo, Derik, Girkê Legê, Tirbespiyê, Amuda, Darbasiyah, Hasakah, and Afrin. As of the early hours of February 6, 2026, the humanitarian assistance delivered to Rojava Kurdistan is as follows:
361 truckloads of food, non-food items, medical supplies, and fuel have reached Rojava Kurdistan.
12,526 families have benefited from the assistance.
325,582 liters of fuel have been distributed, benefiting 8,908 families.
73,012 hot meals have been distributed.
7,919 individuals have received medical treatment.
731 job opportunities have been created.
More than 150 staff members from all branches of the Barzani Charity Foundation are working in food, health, logistics, and field operations to serve the people of Rojava Kurdistan.
In addition to delivering assistance, the Foundation serves as a strong bridge between the people of Rojava and local and international organizations, ensuring that displaced and affected communities in Rojava Kurdistan receive support in the most effective and coordinated manner.
