As of the morning of February 1, a total of 8,437 families in the cities of Rojava and Aleppo have benefited from the assistance.

The teams of the Barzani Charity Foundation continue to distribute humanitarian assistance to displaced families in Rojava. On February 1, the second aid convoy was also distributed to affected residents in the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods of Aleppo.
Barzani Charity Foundation’s teams remain actively engaged in distributing aid to displaced families across the cities of Qamishlo, Derik, Girkê Legê, Tirbespiyê, Amuda, and Darbasiyah. On February 1, the second convoy of assistance was delivered to those affected in the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods of Aleppo.
As of the early hours of February 1, 2026, the humanitarian assistance delivered to Rojava Kurdistan and Aleppo is as follows:
307 truckloads of food, non-food items, medical supplies, and fuel have reached Rojava Kurdistan.
8,437 families have benefited from the assistance, currently sheltered in 201 schools and 15 mosques.
7,909 families have received 285,582 liters of fuel, distributed across 209 schools and 12 mosques.
43,226 hot meals have been distributed in 187 schools and 12 mosques.
4,470 individuals in 58 schools have received medical treatment.
564 job opportunities have been created.
More than 150 staff members from all branches of the Barzani Charity Foundation are working across food, health, logistics, and field operations to serve the people of Rojava Kurdistan.
Since the outbreak of conflict and the resulting complex and difficult humanitarian situation, which led to the displacement of thousands of families in Rojava Kurdistan, the Foundation under the direction of President Barzani, launched a broad campaign to collect and deliver humanitarian aid. The distribution of assistance by Foundation teams continues intensively, with daily services and support provided to displaced families across various sectors.
Following extensive efforts, the Barzani Charity Foundation secured the approval of the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver aid to the city of Aleppo. On February 1, 2026, the second convoy of assistance was distributed in the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods.
Beyond providing aid, the Foundation serves as a strong bridge between the people of Rojava and local and international organizations, ensuring that assistance reaches displaced and affected communities in the most effective and coordinated manner.
The Foundation’s campaigns, supported by donors from all segments of society, have been carried out on a large scale. The “Ranji Rudaw” campaign, which represented a significant and impactful humanitarian effort, was entrusted to the Foundation’s teams and distributed to displaced and affected families throughout Rojava.
