International trainers to prepare search and rescue teams of Barzani Charity Foundation, for two days trained 27 employees of Barzani Charity Foundation, to prepare them as emergency and rescue teams.
Under the supervision of Ismail Abdulaziz, international trainers to prepare search and rescue teams in Barzani Charity Foundation, which numbered eight trainers, on Tuesday and Wednesday 8 and 9\7\2025 for two days they trained 27 employees of Barzani Charity Foundation.
The Humanitarian Relief, Human Rights and Freedoms Commission (IHH) in Turkey invited a team of Barzani Charity Foundation to participate in a search and rescue course in Turkey. On 23/11/2022, the team of Barzani Charity Foundation, which consisted of 17 people, participated in the first day of the training.
The course lasted nine days in the first phase. The course included three areas. First, search and rescue in difficult and high places. Second, search, find, and rescue people under collapsed buildings (due to earthquakes, explosions, or any other cause). Third, search and rescue in deep ponds and rivers.
The second phase of the course was held in 2023 in Erbil. In other words, IHH trainers came to the Kurdistan Region and in the third and final phase, nine employees of Barzani Charity Foundation were selected and awarded certificates and teaching and training licenses.
Established in 1992, IHH is one of the largest organizations in the Middle East with more than 1,800 volunteers.
Barzani Charity Foundation has a big goal to serve the victims. Therefore, in addition to delivering aid and assistance to refugees, it has also planned for emergency and rescue operations. In coordination with the relevant governmental and non-governmental parties, it will be active in this field.
