Musa Ahmad: We will take the educational project to every home

The President of Barzani Charity Foundation stressed that the project of orphans of Barzani Charity Foundation is a beautiful and effective project and according to the research conducted by Barzani Charity Foundation and outside the organization, has had a great impact on the economic, social and scientific situation in Kurdistan. He also pointed on that scientifically and Socially one of the points is that all these children must study so that their support continues. Thanks to all the offices of the Barzani Charity Foundation, they have established a beautiful network to connect parents and relevant agencies in the field of education and even in the field of health with the teams of the Barzani Charity Foundation.
“The project has continued since 2012 with the direct participation and supervision of His Excellency Mr. Masrour Barzani, Chairman of the Founding Board of Barzani Charity Foundation, and more than $81 million has been donated to the families of the orphans” he said. And he continued “We need to take care of these beloved children in a better and more focused way in the field of education”. He also said: “No educational step in Kurdistan will be successful without the support of the Ministry of Education and other institutions related to education. We should thank the Minister of Education and the entire Ministry of Education. For every educational subject, there are many things we have done in the field of education, the Ministry of Education has come forward more concerned than us to make this project a success. I am sure that they will cooperate with us in this project (which is a test during this period) and advise us on how to complete this project.”
He also claimed: “This project, like all projects of the Barzani Charity Foundation, is the project of the Kurdish people, so thankfully the door is open for advice, assistance and support of the Kurdish Academy, Kurdistan Democratic Party Studies Bureau, Kurdistan universities and civil society organizations. To take this project to every home. Because this project is not only love of the country, not only coexistence and respect for human rights, not only ensuring science and improving the scientific level of these children, it also provides health and social counseling and connects society in general.” And he added: “We have taken good steps so far, but together we can certainly achieve bigger and more important achievements.”
Then Sami Abdulrahman, Director of the Educational Project of Barzani Charity Foundation, presented the activities of the educational project in a very objective and scientific manner. He said that so far, the project as a test, includes five topics, which are:
Creating mobile applications for the orphans.
Providing 67 seminars and educational training courses to 4,044 loved ones (orphans) and their families in all offices of Barzani Charity Foundation.
Providing educational and psychological guidance and support in the fields of (organizing their lifestyle and time, encouraging and teaching learning arts) to 586 dear ones (orphans).
Returning two beloved children (orphans) who have been excluded from school.
Printing 3,000 cultural and educational booklets and brochures.
In the same ceremony, Dr. Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government, in his speech stressed, “Barzani Charity Foundation is an organization that goes beyond the definition of an ordinary organization in multidimensional work and great work and humanitarian work in Kurdish society. The various projects of the Barzani Charity Foundation have given an optimistic and encouraging message to everyone and the Barzani Charity Foundation has supported the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government in many areas. The first is the construction of dozens of school buildings in Kurdistan cities, towns and villages, the second is the renovation of hundreds of schools in southern Kurdistan and isolated areas outside the Kurdistan Region. The third Barzani Charity Foundation has been involved in providing solar energy systems to dozens of schools in the Kurdistan Region. The fourth Barzani Charity Foundation has been involved in the process of returning to school every year.”
The minister said that the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has been able to return 33,321 students who dropped out of school in the ninth cabinet so that they continue their academic life and shape their future.
Dr. Alan Hama Saeed, in another topic of his speech, highlighted that “Barzani Charity Foundation has played an important role in providing supplies for educational centers, supplies of all kinds, (bags and stationery, fuel, material support, providing other classroom, staff and library room supplies). He also said: “Now, if you pass through some areas, when you see a school building that has been renovated, or built, in black and red, these are the schools that the Barzani Charity Foundation has renovated, which numbers hundreds of schools. All these important works mean being responsible, it means taking responsibility, which Barzani Charity Foundation supports the Ministry of Education. This project (announcement of the educational project of the dear ones), is an important project without discrimination, it has been carried out in all cities and towns of Kurdistan, serves the orphans and students. Therefore, for the dear ones, the Barzani Charity Foundation is a home, a shelter, a platform, a containment, and the protection of human dignity, which has been its priority. Barzani Charity Foundation protects the dignity of those who are sponsored and receive assistance through the Foundation. We congratulate this beautiful and unique project, which can convey an important educational, health and social message to the loved ones through a digital and electronic mechanism. We hope to see it glow it in the future. We express the readiness of the Ministry of Education to serve this project in terms of our human resources.”
At the announcement ceremony of the “Orphans’ Educational Project”, the music group (Nextgen), with the participation of several dear children, performed anthems and songs to the audience.
