The Barzani Charity Foundation office in Qamishli provided medicines and medical supplies to the Qamishli General Hospital on May 4, 2026.
The assistance included:
10 cartons of medicines
6 cartons of medical clothing for healthcare workers and patients
5 cartons of syringes
100 mattresses
100 blankets
100 pillows
Food baskets
Rechargeable lights
In addition, on May 13, 2026, in cooperation with AwaMedica, the Foundation supplied 20 cartons of medicines and medical supplies to the Heliliya Clinic in Qamishli.
Ongoing Humanitarian Support in Rojava Kurdistan
Since the outbreak of conflict and the resulting humanitarian crisis and displacement of thousands of families in Rojava Kurdistan, the Barzani Charity Foundation launched a large-scale humanitarian campaign under the direction of President Masoud Barzani to collect and deliver relief assistance to the region as quickly as possible.
The Foundation’s emergency and service teams have provided assistance not only in Qamishli, but also in Al-Hasakah, Amuda, Al-Malikiyah (Dêrik), Ras al-Ayn, Al-Darbasiyah, Afrin, and surrounding villages. Assistance continues to be distributed daily to local residents, as well as low-income and vulnerable families.
More Than Three Tons of Medicine Delivered
As part of its ongoing humanitarian activities in Rojava Kurdistan and in coordination with Kurdish Red Crescent (Heyva Sor a Kurd), the Foundation delivered more than three tons of medicine to the National Hospital and hospitals in Amuda on February 25, 2026.
Following the reopening of its office in Qamishli, the teams of the Barzani Charity Foundation have continued to provide services and a wide range of humanitarian assistance to communities throughout the region.
