On Sunday, May 17, 2026, a delegation from the Barzani Charity Foundation, headed by Ismail Abdulaziz Mustafa, a member of the Foundation’s Executive Board, participated in the defense of a doctoral dissertation at the University of Tikrit. The dissertation focused on the activities and contributions of the Barzani Charity Foundation in the field of sustainable development.
The doctoral thesis was presented by the student Salahaddin Taha Muhsin. Following an academic discussion on the content of the dissertation and its main case study, which examined the work and activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation in sustainable development, the examining committee approved the thesis with the grade of “Excellent.”
Afterward, the Foundation’s delegation visited Anwar Fares Abd Al-Azzawi, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Tikrit, where they received a warm welcome.
During the meeting, the Dean highlighted the importance of the work and activities carried out by the Barzani Charity Foundation, stating that humanity and humanitarian values have always been at the core of the Foundation’s mission and activities.
