Statistics for July 2021
The Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) in July 2021, implemented 288 projects which benefited 76,207 families (375,979 individuals), targeting vulnerable populations in Iraq and Kurdistan Region, internally displaced persons and refugees inside and outside the camps.
Camp Resident Statistics
According to the latest report by the BCF for the month of July 2021, the total number of IDP and refugee camps in the provinces of (Erbil, Duhok, Nineveh, Sulaymaniyah, Germian Administration) is 65,187 families (285,616 individuals). The BCF, in collaboration with UNHCR and Joint Crisis Coordination (JCC) in Erbil and Duhok, manages the camps.
The total number of camp residents, according to the BCF’s report, is as follows:
Duhok Province – (29,638) Families / (159,326) Individuals
Sulaymaniyah Province – (4,400) Families / (19,619) Individuals
Germian Administration – (403) Families / (1,568) Individuals
Nineveh Province – (21,255) Families / (61,673) Individuals
Erbil Province – (9,491) Families / (43,430) Individuals
Working Sectors in July 2021
The BCF carried out 288 projects through 12 working sectors (CCCM, Protection, Education, Development, Shelter, Health, Livelihood, NFI, Cash Assistance, Food Security, WASH and other sectors) to serving all the components in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) vulnerable population, IDPs, and refugees. The total number of beneficiaries was 76,207 families (375,797 individuals), in which the majority of beneficiaries were in Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) sector projects (308,455 Individuals) that the BCF implemented in partnership with other humanitarian organizations inside the camps.

The BCF is committed to providing humanitarian services to meet the needs of the most vulnerable families. The total number of beneficiaries is 375,797 individuals throughout 288 different projects in July 2021.

Beneficiaries Per BCF Offices
The BCF has opened its offices in Erbil, Duhok, Sulaymaniyah, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Germian to provide assistance for the people who visit them to register their names.
The majority of beneficiaries are from the Erbil province (211,168 individuals) as many of the IDP and refugee camps are located in the province, in which the projects are conducted in coordination with sponsors and donors.

Health Centres
The BCF collaborated with international NOGs to open health centres in IDP and refugee camps in Erbil and Duhok provinces. Health centres in Bardarash, Khazir, and Hassan Shamp camps provided health assistance and medicine to 4,303 people in July 2021.
