Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced distributed 486 parcels of household items and clothes to the 486 families of Dawdiya camp in Duhok province on January 11, 2023.
In a similar activity, on January 9, 2023, 2,564 parcels of household kitchenware and clothes were distributed to an equal number of families of Sharya camp in Duhok province.
The distribution of the aids continued in Sheikhan, Isyan and Cham Mshko camps on January 12, in Sharya camp on January 15 and in Khanke camp on January 16. All the residents of the camps benefited from the aid.
The aid comes after the Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displaced visited the Barzani Charity Foundation at the end of 2022, then a delegation of the foundation met with the minister to discuss more about the living conditions of IDPs and refugees in camps in the Kurdistan Region.
