It is with great sadness that we have received the news of the passing away of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Ahmed Jaber Al-Sabah.
This news completely saddened us.
He has always been in the service of humanity, the poor, the displaced and the refugees. Through the Consul of Kuwait in the Kurdistan Region and through the Barzani Charitable Foundation, he has continuously helped orphans in Kurdistan and Iraq and he was always helping immigrants and refugees.
On behalf of the Presidency, all employees, volunteers, children, refugees and displaced persons, Barzani Charity Foundation extends its condolences to the family of Al Sabah and the people of Kuwait.
The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Ahmed Jaber Al-Sabah, had devoted his entire life to the service of humanity, charity, cooperation, solidarity and giving.
May Allah forgive him and grant him Paradise. And may Allah help his family from the sorrow of his death.
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
