Barzani Charity Foundation in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government and in partnership with the (American Charity Foundation (LDS), The Stirling Foundation and Dutch Flower Stationary) will repair 50 schools in the provinces of the Kurdistan Region and isolated areas.
After the announcement of the project to repair 50 schools in the provinces and isolated areas of the Kurdistan Region on 1\7\2024 in a presence attended by Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) and Alan Hama Saeed, Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government a memorandum of understanding was signed between the President of Barzani Charity Foundation and the Minister of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the works have started to renovate 20 schools in Erbil, 20 schools in Duhok, five schools in Mosul and five schools in Kirkuk and they are under renovation currently.
The renovation project of 50 schools will not only serve students and teachers, but also motivates students to study in a more appropriate environment, while creating dozens of job opportunities for the people of the region.
