A delegation from the Netherlands visited Bahirka camp on May 17, 2023, and received by the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) representative and the camp administration.
The visiting delegation consisted of Joost Klareenbeek, Special Envoy for Migration, Carlo Witte, and Niels Drouen, Senior Policy Officers.
After discussing the situation of the camp residents and the services provided, the Dutch delegation conducted a field visit around the camp to closely see the projects of Barzani Charity Foundation with the support of its partners. They also visited a number of families living in the camp and reaffirmed their country’s support for assistance and improvement of their living conditions.
