Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) with the assistance of local and foreign donors, announced the project of distributing students’ needs for the school new year of (2023-2024) on September 14, 2023.
Mr. Musa Ahmed, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, told the media that the foundation has always paid great attention to education and students, and said that this year in order to eliminate three shifts in schools, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and a number of international organizations have built more than 135 extra class rooms for schools in the Kurdistan Region, which cost more than two billion dollars.
The BCF president also mentioned their assistance for more than 16,000 orphans, all of whom are students and will benefit from the assistance provided they continue their education.
“An estimated 21,000 sets of backpacks, stationery and other school supplies have been prepared for this year and the project will remain open to more donations, and it also covers Kirkuk and Mosul,” he said.
At the end of his speech, the BCF president thanked the partners of the project, which included International Media School, Galiawa Company, Balav Company, Moonline Company, Quest International Company, Cihan School, Dubai Towers Company, Lawyer Safin Yasin.
