Winter clothes will be provided to 200 children

Seeing the deep smiles and laughter of the children who are happy in the joy of choosing, wearing clothes and wearing new shoes, makes someone that comfortable that from the depth of his heart thank the Barzani Charity Foundation and donors, who were able to put this joy in the hearts of 200 children, that have been without affection for years because of losing their fathers.
The Orphans and Single Department of Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF), with the help of a donor who did not want to be named, provided winter clothes and shoes to 200 orphans in Erbil on January 30, 2024.
200 orphan children, all students from primary to high school, were happy to buy winter clothes and shoes of their own free will. Most of them were asked if they have any other wishes or they want anything else but they were very happy with the shopping and did not ask for anything else, but one of the children, 13-year-old named (M, Sh), a primary school student, wished that his younger brothers and sisters would feel the same happiness that she does.
Mr. Mohsin Mohammed Salih, Head of the Orphans and Singles Unit of the Erbil Office of Barzani Charitable Foundation, said that the activity was carried out with the support of a respected donor and the orphans and singles unit has been helping individuals in many sectors such as cash assistance, food, educational and health supplies, etc.”
Regarding the type of assistance, he said, the donors and sponsors themselves determine, sometimes cash and often buying clothes and various supplies for the orphans.
According to not providing clothes for all children from a family the head of orphans and singles unit in Barzani Charity Foundation – Erbil office claimed “Because we cannot take the mothers and guardians of the children to the malls, which creates a lot of crowds, and because children under the age of six cannot be without their mother, so unfortunately, they are deprived of these activities. But fortunately, there are families, five of their children have benefited from the activity.”
He also explained that in many other sectors, especially those whose names are registered in the department of orphans and singles of the Barzani Charity Foundation and guaranteed, all family members will benefit. For example, more than 3,800 children receive financial assistance in the UAE alone.
“In addition, we want to make the children happy in various ways, such as a trip to the malls, swimming pools, horse riding grounds and field activities,”.
The section of the orphans and singles unit of Barzani Charity Foundation has been given great attention to and many donors from the Kurdistan Region and abroad provide financial assistance to the unit.
