Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) in a press conference announced that in coordination with Awamedica company they have provided more than 12 tons of medicines and medical supplies to the Soran General Directorate of Health.
In a press conference held on 11\7\2024 in Soran, Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation, Halgurd Sheikh Najib, Governor of Soran and Dr. Kamran Mullah Mohammed, Director of Soran General Directorate of Health, were present. In this regard, Mr. Musa Ahmad, President of Barzani Charity Foundation said: “Barzani Charity Foundation will make every effort to be a strong bridge between our beloved people, Kurdistan investors and international organizations, and our goal has always been to ease the worries of citizens”. he also said “We have had various projects in Soran region, what is important is that we continue these projects and what is more important is that our projects have become more extensive and comprehensive year by year”.
The head of the Barzani Charity Foundation, in his speech to the media, stressed that due to all the obstacles that are created for the Kurdistan Region, the people of the Kurdistan Region need more attention. He added that they have major projects for cooperation in all sectors for Soran region and the entire Kurdistan Region in the near future. “We have always emphasized that what we are doing is only our duty as Barzani Charity Foundation to serve the improvement of people’s lives and provide their needs. We have always wanted to say we did this, not that we will do that.”
Mr. Halgurd Sheikh Najib, Governor of Soran, said: “On behalf of the Independent Administration of Soran, we thank the Barzani Charity Foundation for always supporting all sectors of education and health and the poor and affected people of this region. It has a significant role in Iraq and the world.” he also said “The Barzani Charity Foundation has been able to build a very good trust between the poor and the pious”.
Mr. Dr. Kamran Mullah Mohammed, director of the Soran General Directorate of Health, told the media that the Barzani Charity Foundation carries the sorrows and sufferings of the people and has served citizens and other people in all fields for many years. “The Barzani Charity Foundation in collaboration with Awamedica Company has provided about 12 tons of medicines and medical supplies to the Soran General Directorate of Health, which will be distributed to health centers and hospitals in the districts of Soran Autonomous Administration,” he added. He stressed that the assistance will not only facilitate the work of citizens, but also ease the burden of the Soran General Directorate of Health. he also claimed “We would like to thank Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, who is also the Chairman of the Founding Board of the Barzani Charity Foundation, for his support to the Ministry of Health, especially the Sorani General Directorate of Health”.
