One year has passed since the opening of the Barzani Center for Culture and Development in Afrin

Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) opened a cultural center in Afrin on 4/7/2023 named (Barzani Center for Culture and Development) with the support of Caritas Essen.
After Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) teams arrived in Syria at the time of the earthquake in the country and delivered humanitarian aid, Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) opened its office in Afrin to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the victims and citizens of the region, After the Afrin office started its work and saw progress and in order to pay attention to the educational and professional aspects of the citizens of the region, the Barzani Center for Culture and Development was opened for this purpose.
Mr. Rawaj Haji, a member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation and in charge of the Afrin issue, said: “The Barzani Center for Culture and Development includes all cultural and development activities and educational and training courses are implemented in coordination with the Afrin Educational Center”.
In continuation of his speech, he claimed that “The Barzani Center for Culture and Development has completed a year of service in Afrin after its official opening, especially the opened Kurdish courses that have been opened on the request of the Afrin educational center and they have been given certificates to pay attention to the subjects taught in Kurdish, also working on orphans.” he also said: “The Barzani Center in Afrin is a center where all the work and activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation are carried out and has opened its place among the people of the region from all walks of life,”
About the expanding of its projects, he said: “The projects of the Barzani Center for Culture and Development are improving and expanding year by year and it is planned to serve the people of Afrin with more projects in the second year of its existence. During the year, several vocational and educational courses were opened and many people benefited from various trainings, including computer courses, craft courses, drawing courses and basics of photography and portraiture, mobile phone repair courses, sewing courses, music courses, English language courses The total number of courses opened at the Barzani Center for Culture and Development is 18, of which 226 people (88 girls, 72 boys and 66 children) benefited.
Several parties have benefited from these courses during the year, such as Masar Institute for Talented People, Raperin Institute, Ashna and Awaz Institute, etc.
