Pilgrims from Haji Omeran continue to arrive in Erbil to participate in the 40th anniversary of Imam Al-Hussein in Karbala. They appreciate the services of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Barzani Charity Foundation.
Mr. Ismail Abdulaziz, a member of the Executive Board of Barzani Charity Foundation and the supervisor of the project to welcome pilgrims who will visit Karbala to participate in the mourning ceremony of Imam Al-Hussein, said: the preparations have completed a week before the arrival of the pilgrims of the mourning ceremony that they go to Karbala. On Thursday, August 8, 2024, the first convoy of pilgrims arrived at their resting place in Erbil and all services, including medical services, have been provided to them.” “The teams of the Barzani Charity Foundation, in the past two years, made all preparations to welcome the pilgrims, who came to Erbil to participate in the mourning ceremony of Imam Al-Hussein from Haji Omeran and then sent to Karbala and Najaf. This year, for the third time, services have been prepared for the pilgrims and we warmly welcome them. May their prayers and worship get accepted.”
Mr. Yousef Jahanbakhsh, who has installed a sewing machine in the men’s resting room, told the media of the Barzani Charity Foundation: “The Kurdistan Regional Government and the Barzani Charity Foundation have provided all the facilities for us may mighty Allah reward you all”. Mr. Amir Hussein Sayed Nazari, who is a teacher, serves pilgrims at Hazrat Ruqayah Tea House. He has seven large samawar barrels and repeatedly pours tea for the pilgrims. He spoke with great enthusiasm about the services of the Barzani Charity Foundation. “This charity foundation serves religion and sects, so God will always make them successful,” he said.
