On Tuesday 25\3\2025, a seminar entitled “The Impact of History – Mustafa Barzani’s Legacy for Peace and Coexistence in Kurdistan” was held on the birth anniversary of the immortal Barzani. In Committee Hall 6 of the British Parliament Building.
Siamand Bana, former Iraqi ambassador and interpreter of the immortal Barzani’s speeches, detailed in the seminar the struggle, act, and leadership of the immortal Barzani and their significant role in consolidating peace and coexistence in Kurdistan. And stressed on keeping this peace and coexistence ongoing in the region.
Then, Professor Jean-Roj Kilis analyzed the importance of continuing Barzani’s philosophy and strengthening the spirit of coexistence in Kurdistan and the region in an academic manner.
The participants of the seminar were from different ethnic groups and Kurds from all four parts of Kurdistan, as well as several political figures, academics, political and social researchers, and orientalists.
Barzani Charity Foundation is licensed in several countries and was officially recognized in 2020 by the British High Commission for Charities.
