A Water Project for Lalish People Completed

Barzani Charity Foundation and LDS Charities completed a water project in the Shekhan District of Duhok Province which contains the holiest temple in the Yezidi faith. The project which consists of a drinking water storage was opened on the first day of the Yezidi Jamayi holiday.

The BCF and LDS joint project will provide clean water to Lalish residents and its surrounding areas. The water storage can hold up to 75 cubic meters of water which cost 15,000,000 Iraqi dinars.

The BCF and LDS Charities continue to carry out joint humanitarian projects, benefiting local populations, refugees and the internally displaced persons.
