A high-level delegation of China, including Tsui Wei, Ambassador of the Republic of China to Iraq, Liu Jiun, Consul General of China in the Kurdistan Region and Jin Xin, Deputy Head of Foreign Relations of the Communist Party of China, visited Barzani heritage Center in Erbil Castle on Monday 15/12/2025.
Samir Nzari, Head of Barzani Heritage Center of Barzani Charity Foundation, warmly welcomed the delegation and highlighted several stages of struggle and internationally renowned personalities and great Kurdish leader and culture (General Mustafa Barzani), the members of the delegation got acquainted with Kurdish history and the charisma of the Immortal Barzani.
Jin Xin, Deputy Head of Foreign Relations of the Communist Party of China, called the Kurdish past a brilliant history and said: “The Kurdish nation is a rich people with culture and history. I am familiar with Barzani’s name and admire his charisma and personality. Therefore, I consider the duty of the Barzani Charity Foundation in paying attention to Barzani culture and Kurdish cultural identity as a sacred work.”
The Barzani Heritage Center in Erbil Citadel was built by the Barzani Charity Foundation and welcomes visitors daily. Foreigners, tourists, political figures and diplomats often visit this center and become more familiar with Kurdish history and the past struggle of the Kurdish people.
