The ceremony of signing a contract to construct a building for the College of Islamic Sciences at Salahaddin University was announced in a press conference at the BCF’s headquarters on August 26, 2021. The project is funded by the State of Kuwait and Kuwait Society for Relief with a total of USD 3.5 million, the ceremony was attended by the President of the BCF, Musa Ahmad, President of Salahaddin University, Assistant Prof. Jawhar, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Idris.
New Era of our Activities Started
The President of the BCF, Musa Ahmad, delivered the opening speech, Today, we announce a new era of our projects which is different from what we have achieved so far. The BCF strives to provide services in all sectors of life and keep being a bridge between people in Kurdistan and those who believe in our vision. The BCF has always been trying to assist the higher education sector in KRG. Today, we are pleased to announce a significant project, particularly that the KRG is facing an economic crisis. We stand by the KRG to assist our people in the Kurdistan Region.

The Implementation of the Project Takes 7 Months
Regarding the implementation of the project of construction of a building for the College of Islamic Sciences in Salahaddin University, Mr. Ahmad highlighted, The Kuwait Society for Relief has funded the project with a total of 3.5 million US dollars and the implementation of the project takes 7 months to be done. The project was prepared by the Presidency of Salahaddin University and Presidency Counsel which benefits hundreds of students and graduate every year. We are honoured to gain the trust of Islamic charity organizations and committees and international organizations as well.
The BCF’s Charity Projects Have Served People in All Aspects of Life
President of Salahaddin University, Assistant Prof. Jawhar highlighted the importance of this project, We, on behalf of the Presidency of Salahaddin University and Presidency Counsel, recognize the BCF’s charity projects that have served in the Kurdistan Region in all aspects of life. We hope that, together, we can finish the construction of the College of Islamic Sciences at Salahaddin University on time as it is absolutely essential. Also, the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Idris presented a speech and stated, I extend my special thanks to the BCF for their support and collaboration with Salahaddin University to construct a building for the College of Islamic Sciences. This project is vital for the university and students in the Kurdistan Region. We appreciate the State of Kuwait and Kuwait Society for Relief for their continued support in helping the Iraqi and Kurdistan Governments.
