Following the auspices of His Excellency Masoud Barzani, the Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF) delivered a convoy of medical aid including more than 50 types of medicine and medical supplies to Samawah (Muthanna) province.
On August 9, 2021, the BCF sent a convoy of medical supplies to the province of Samawah, aiming to further serving all the components of Iraq, in which the province is suffering from the lack of medicines and medical supplies.
The BCF’s delegation was greeted by the Samawah Governor Mr. Ahmed Manfi Judeh. In a meeting between the two sides, the Governor of Samawah province recognized the humanitarian projects and activities that BCF carried out to assist vulnerable populations from south and central Iraq who have been displaced to the Kurdistan Region. Mr Judeh also highlighted the assistance provided for people in the provinces of Basra, Salahaddin, Nineveh, Baghdad and other cities by the BCF.
The BCF delegation reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to assisting disadvantaged people and serving humanity indiscriminately. The delegation mentioned that this convoy of medical aids is consisted of 50 types of medicines and was handed over to the province’s officials under the auspices of His Excellency Masoud Barzani.
The BCF’s delegation was accompanied by Ways Jalil and Ismail Abdulaziz the BCF Administrative Board Members and the governor of Samawah presented a “letter of recognition” to the BCF delegation on behalf of residents of the province for the foundation’s humanitarian assistance to the people.
