The vest worn by the employees and volunteers of the Barzani Charity Foundation has a logo and the image of the leader and spiritual father of the nation “Mustafa Barzani” in two circles (on the chest and behind the shirt). This makes the task of this institution much more difficult, because they follow the humanitarian thought of the late Barzani, who has always emphasized coexistence, reconciliation, service and environmental protection.
Mr. Rizgar Obed, Director of the Supply Chain Department of Barzani Charity Foundation, has kept samples of all the vests of Barzani Charity Foundation since its establishment in 2005 and has kept them in his workroom. And talks about the colors of the vests from the beginning which was black until now which is light brown and claims: “It was the first experience, so the black color was chosen, but the work and activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation are not only in one area There is no border and wherever people need help, the teams of Barzani Charity Foundation can be present in those places and provide relief work, services and assistance that’s why light brown color has been chosen as the color of the vests which is the color of land.
In response to the question that the first vest was worn for which activities of the Barzani Charity Foundation? He said: “The first activity of the Barzani Charity Foundation was a tree planting project in which we planted 4,500 trees in the cities and towns of the Kurdistan Region. Environmental protection has a special place in Barzan’s beliefs. Sheikh Ahmad from Barzan used the concept of environment and environmental protection decades before the United Nations and international organizations and he always has encouraged people to protect the environment.”
People in Kurdistan respect the Barzani Charity Foundation’s vest, the employees are proud of it, and in the countries where the Barzani Charity Foundation has worked, it has been given special respect as the Director of the Supply Chain Department of Barzani Charity Foundation says: They respect the employees of Barzani Charity Foundation a lot more than they respect the Kurdish people in the countries that the foundation goes. When we went to help the people of Turkey, after the earthquake disaster, the first night someone stopped us and immediately kissed the logo of the vest and said: I am ready to volunteer to help you, because the picture of the historical Kurdish leader General Barzani on your vests.
Another night we were in Urfa. We were a team of more than twenty people and it was late at night it was around 1:30 pm. We were looking for a place to stay. Someone came and begged us to go with him to his house He kissed the logo of my vest and said: “You Kurds do not know how great the value of this great man is. The name of Mullah Mustafa Barzani is a sacred name and belongs to every Kurd, may Allah place him and reward him with heaven”.
